Eeks I haven't blogged for close to 2 weeks! Been busy with wedding planning and work. I'm just glad I sorted out a few wedding tasks:
- Wedding videography confirmed! We chose Winson to be our videographer since we love the cinematographic style that he adopts for his videos. Whilst he wasn't the cheapest, he was the most value for money!
- First Gown fitting checked =) Yes! I tried on my gowns last week and the experience was totally surreal! My gowns, especially the wedding gown, were so pretty.
- Engaged Knots in Pics photobooth! My mum offered to sponsor our photobooth and I'm reaalllly thankful. I'm always excited about taking fun photos at a booth and I can't wait to have it at our wedding.
I've recently been obsessed with reading the Green wedding shoes website, life style and diy blogs. So many inspirational, creative images and ideas! Motivates me to do some nice DIY stuff as well. I love the idea of adding personal touches to decor/gifts to make them more meaningful and unique.
I just developed 2R copies of some of the best pictures I took or love. Can't wait to use them to decorate my table or cubicle at work!
Time for not-so-happy stuff.
Work wise, I've been feeling rather apprehensive about what I've been doing. I can't help feeling lost and unhappy about the quality of my work. I'm no longer as motivated as I was before. Why is this so? Is this not my element? I really don't know. Gerald tells me not to let it get to me... afterall it's just work. Is it really just work? I mean I spend most of my time at work... how do I feel happy when my work's not meaningful?
Perhaps I have overly high expectations of my job. Perhaps work is not supposed to be a major contributor of one's happiness and sense of fulfillment. This is why we must always look to other aspects of life to make us happy.
