I'm officially turning 27 in 1 hours time! As cliche as it sounds, time really flies. In a blink of an eye, I'm approaching my late 20s! It's almost unbelievable.
Sometimes, I still feel very childlike. I'm always in my own little world. Growing up scares me because it means more exposure to not-so-nice side of life... Of people. But of course, we become wiser (hopefully) when we grow older and learn how to live life better.
Whilst I'm not as excited about my birthday as in previous years, I am excited about the path that lies ahead of me. I'm getting married to my best friend! The love of my life. It'll be a new chapter for me. When my next birthday comes, things will be very different. I do feel kinda sad that I'll be 'leaving' my current home... Away from my family. But I know I'll also be joining a new family and creating one of our own.
I'm gonna spend some awesome time with my family and Gerald tomorrow. That's how I want to spend my birthday... With lots of love, laughter and memorable moments.
